Hi all,

I needed to customize the behavior of the forum module a bit so I downloaded the source. Seeing that it was still ASP1.1 I was worried (I don't have VS2003 installed on my current dev machine), but was glad that you provided a nant build file. So I downloaded nant and ran the build file. But I'm afraid things didn't go smoothly. I keep getting errors like:

[solution] Assembly "D:\dnn\controls\CountryListBox\bin\CountryListBox.dll", referenced by project "DotNetNuke.Forum", does not exist.

What am I doing wrong? I'm sure this sounds stupid to most people who've used nant before (I haven't) ^^

To use the nAnt buildfile, you must have the references assemblies (dll's) in the spot it is looking for them. Here it shows you where that should be.

Thanks for the reply Crispy!

I've done as you instructed, but I'm afraid I've ran into a whole slew of new probelms. The build resulted in several errors in the manner of:

[solution] vbc : error BC31011: Unable to load referenced library 'C:\controls\CountryListBox\bin\CountryListBox.dll': Version 2.0 is not a compatible version.
[solution] C:\controls\CountryListBox\bin\CountryListBox.dll : error BC31011: Unable to load referenced library 'C:\controls\CountryListBox\bin\CountryListBox.dll': Version 2.0 is not a compatible version.

With plenty of other errors resulting from the lack of reference like:

[solution] C:\dnnforum\Forum_PostModerate.ascx.vb(145) : error BC30451: Name 'Request' is not declared.
 [solution]
[solution]                 If Not Request.QueryString("forumid") Is Nothing Then
 [solution]                        ~~~~~~~

Any help is appreciated.

Posted to add that I've used the assembly files that came with the source.
