Our site uses a 760px wide page skin layout for most pages. To make the forum more usable I created a 1024px wide page skin for the forum module. The problem I have is when new thread is selected the page is displayed with the sites default 760px wide layout instead of the page skin the module was placed on. How can I have the add/edit feature also display on a specified page skin instead of the default?

Thanks for any advice on this!

add edit always use the admin skin specified in site settings.

I'm bummed! The admin skin is only 760px wide.. so what happens is the module title appears near the top of the page and the add/edit form falls way down the page with a huge white space inbetween.. users can't even see the form unless they scroll down.... does that mean I'll have to redesign the entire site to use a wider layout?

Unfortunately, yes. In my opinion, i would rather have the larger admin skin anyway, but maybe its just me.

any chance adding a row to the TABS table for that tabid with an entry for the skinsrc column would induce the add/editform to use the same skin as the Forum  module is inserted in? I know.. It's a long shot ;)
