Um, I know this seems dumb, but I'm experimenting with this version and I can't find where I can delete a thread.

I have full admin rights to the forum, but there's no option to delete anything except a post. I thought deleting the first post in a thread killed the thread (it does with ActiveForums) but it doesn't seem to in 4.4.3.

Does the forum have to be moderated before I can kill a thread?

Please check the permissions settings.  I have check this in Public gerneral Forum.  deleting the first Post (begin of a thred) is deleting the complete thread.

Whoops - sort order was wrong.

Does this delete all records for the thread in the database, or does it leave orphaned records?

It deletes all Posts from the Database.
