I am using version 4.05.01.  I created a security group called "Committee Members".  I only want this group to be able to view and add posts to the forum.  I can not figure out how to allow this group to add posts without setting the rights for the page to "Edit Page".  If I just give "view page" rights then the users in that group can only view the forum.  If I change the rights to "Edit Page" then they are able to add posts, but also do a lot of other things I don't want them to do.

I have seen other posts on this forum about this problem, but I can not seem to find an answer.  Any help would be appreciated.

What verison of the forum? See my blogs on behavior types, forum types, permissions if you are using 4.4.3.
