DNN is set up so that each customer has its own portal.  I want  to implement a shared forum for them.  The forum will be exactly the same on each portal, but it must be inside each portal (ie, cant link to outside portal just for the forum, it must be embedded). I want to provide subportal owners with a support forum that they accesas within their own portals.

1. Is it possible to create a generic  dnn page with no formating and insert forum module in it.  And than insert that  page in Iframe page in each portal?  How to create such a generic page without header, footer and menu?

2. is it possible to embed that page within Master Page of each portal? How to do it dynamically ? Ie, from any portal request that forum page, and having portal ID, dynamically embed it in corresponding Master Page?

Is it possible to set-up forum this way using a built-in method or hack?

Advice please!

Thanks

1. You need an empty skin and you then need to assign that skin to the page you are using the forum on.

2. DNN does not use "Master Pages" as defined by ASP.NET.

If you follow step 1, then use the IFrame module you can display content in one of the other portals but the user will have to login to the iframe area to take any action.
