I am still very unhappy with how the forum module works with the fckeditor. Inserting pictures does not work, and does not appear to be set up to work with some common file and photo sites. Couple of quick examples:

Doesn't like fquick either. These are both sites for hosting pics, and they list several ways to share the pic. Fquick (example page http://www.fquick.com/garages/viewgallery.php?action=viewimg&id=34087 ) gives you

This is to make life easy for the user that wants to share a picture. I copy and paste the Forum Code on MANY forums, and it always drops the picture in. On the DNN Forum, it just drops a link. When I drop any of them into the insert image popup, it doesn't work. The only thing that has worked is taking the embed code and stripping out the src information. That provides a picture. Why doesn't the DNN editor work like every other editor out there? I don't want my users to have to upload their pics to my server (that gets expensive fast), and I can't expect them to disect the code and get it inserted. This is way harder than it needs to be. Is there a better method, or is FCKeditor not a great choice for us. I really want the forum to work as well as LS1tech.com does as far as ease of use. (http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?p=6791708) Is this a problem I cannot overcome? If the forum is too hard to use, I will not have any users!
Like I mentioned, the only way I have found to use the fquick pictures is to copy and paste the embed code, then stripout the src link information up to the .jpg and paste that as the URL in the Insert Image popup.
