Hello!

I would like to do some little changes in the forum and I would like to know where I have to extract the source folder to? I use DNN 4.0.2.
1) Probably I do not need to use the sources of DNN 4.0.2 to develope on the forum.
2) I have installed DNN on the local IIS (5.2).

Now where do I have to place the source folder of the forum solution?

Thank you very much for any hint!

Regards,
Fabian

I have not tried to dev the forum in DNN 4.x yet. You will have to run the project upgrade. I recommend any forum dev be in 3.x line or else you are on your own.

Hi Crispy,

ok - go for 3.x
But still I do not know where to place the source folder of the forum in the dnn website. Should I place it directly in the "DesktopModules" folder?

Thank you for a little help !

Regards,
Fabian
