Has anyone checked out the Forums at Microsoft's website?  They are excellent.  Someone who know's their stuff should really check out the features and implementation and think about how that can improve the core DNN forums module.

Some of that features i.e. TopThreads, TopUsers, LatestPosts are availible as free addon for the orums too.  You can get it from www.dnnforums.com.  The Others are only design.  And I didn't love that design about it makes not clear deiffernt to the each forums.  The Grouping is clear, but there is no line or others to see on first look where a Forum description ends.

But I think it is a simple template whish is web 2.0 compliant, and can be used for mobile too.

It has a lot of Web 2.0 functionality.  When posting, etc you can really see it.  If you get a chance you can test it out.  All you need is a LIVE ID.  I will check out the add ons.  I just upgraded our site to 4.9 so I am hoping that fixes the forums issue we have had in the past.
