Hi,

Is there a way to make uploading images in posts easier?

I do not want forum users to be able to browse the server to find/upload an image.
Is there a way of uploading the image on the 'Image Properties' popup?

Thanks

Nope, but you can set the view, write and edit permissions for each folder over the DNN FileManager.  Have you read the manual?

This is really too bad.  My site has alot of not so tech-savy people who are having alot of problems trying to attach pictures.

It would be greatly appreciated if there were a fix (or enhancement if you will) that would make picture attachments much easier.

You could add a folder i.e Forum or 1forum and give there the users write access.  The forum uses the fck editor, or other if you have a other installed.  To add images to the content the editor is to use.  If you have create a group like forum you only must give this role access to the write permission of the folder.  Personaly I could not understanding that the users have realy problems to view and search folders on a website, the done it daily on there own systems, it is not different to any OS folder system.

But you can add a Enhancement request to our gemini on http://support.dotnetnuke.com, in the public blog.

All picture related items are the responsiblity of the HTML provider you are using, which in many cases as Matthias said is FCK Editor. The attachments themeselves are handled via the forum and this has limitations of its own because it is using the URL Control of the core (ie. cannot set root directory for attachments).
