Hi,

As an administrator, I've set up a number of forums with a number of threads and posts for each. However, when I click on one of the forums, I don't see the forum's threads listed on the page. This is at level;

 ForumModuleOne  GroupOne  ForumOne

To view the forum's threads, I'm forced to go up 2 levels and click on the forum's 'Last post'. I then need to use the 'Previous' & 'Next' buttons to flick through the threads. I've gone through all of the modules settings & permissions & haven't found an answer. Do you have any advice?

Kind Regards

Paul

If it is form 04.04.03 Version you using, check the first pinned thread in this forum.  Also it would be great to have some more informations from you about Forum and DNN version you are using.  Also it is important to know if it is a upgraded version frm 3.x Forum versions.

Hi Matthias,

Yes the Forum version is 04.04.03 & it's not an upgrade from any previous version. The DNN version is 4.7. We'll look into the script provided provided in the first pinned thread. Thanks for your help.

Regards

Paul

Hi,

I am also having the same problem on my DNN site; none of the Forum Threads are showing when I click on a forum. There definitely are some threads in there. The List script made no difference and I am now beginning to wonder whether there's something in my installation that is preventing the forum from working correctly. I am basically running DNN with a SQL login that only has EXECUTE permissions to all stored procedure, SELECT on views, and SELECT/EXECUTE on functions. No permissions are granted to any of the tables (the SQL login default schema is DBO but is not object owner; owner login was only used to install DNN ). This has already affected the search functionality; it doent work as a result of dynamic SQL in one of the stored procedures. But there is no dynamic SQL in Forum_Thread_GetByForum SP which I believe is the one I should be interested in for this case. DNN version is 4.7 and 4.9 (Separate installations) and Forum is version 04.04.03.
