In reading through the many posts in this forum, I have to admit I am more confused now than I was about the next releases.

There are many known issues in the forums, many of which are show stoppers.  I see threads going back a year talking about release 4.4.4 coming soon, yet there is still no release 4.4.4.  I also see threads that say 4.4.4 is dead and the next release is 4.4.5.  Neither of which have an release status or date.

So can someone from the Forum team or the Core DNN team clarify what the deal is?  The forums are used in many DNN installs worldwide and its important to the community to get these issues resolved.

Also, as part of the community, what can we do to help speed the release process?  I don't think we can go another year waiting for these bugs to get fixed and get a release.

What is bogging this down? Seems to be working great on the dnnforums.com site. I know Chris was making some tweaks last minute, but I thought he was trying to push that out by the end of last week? I figured we might be a week off , but end of the month is 3 more weeks?

Look tell me how to manually fix the notification bug and I will shut up about the new release. The current forum is good but that bug breaks the forums. Is there a workaround?

you could search the gemini for all showstopper bugs for taht asigned to version 4.4.5 this are the issues after submitting 4.4.4. Solution code would not be provided.
