Hi, this is my first post on the DNN forums ...

Regarding the Word Filter function, what I need is to control filtering words to avoid the case of the word "assistant" being truncated to "---istant" for the reason which you can probably guess. :-) And other cases like that too.

One of my ideas was the ability to say to Word Filter "let's only filter words on a whole-word basis", or, to have special word filter entries that are exceptions (i.e. take priority over other ones, so "assistant" would pass through unchanged, and we'd add any other exceptions we could think of.)

If this is already possible or a reasonably quick change for me or the module's developer to do, or if anyone could tell me how this can be done with the module as it is or even propose another solution, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hi Roger,

the forums word filter didn't have any any prioity settings.  It can only be added by changed the code, and is not handled simply.   Only I can advise is to make a anhancement suggestion on our Gemni (support.dotnetnuke.com), so it can be possible, that the team added it in a later version.
