Hello.
Lately we've seen a range of social networks platforms coming to the dnn community. Its a good thing seen from my angel, at my very little dot on the internet.

Unfortunantly only one of these new platforms offers a forum expect ActiveModules. I'm think I can make out the time it must take to change the current project forum to integrate with other (3.party) modules, but there is a little workabout, or at least thats what I think.

The free StoryFeed (sub)module from Smart-Thinker, is a smart little driver for stikiness on any site. Say a user signs up. On the StoryFeed you would see "User X created a profile". This could be used by the project forum module. Say I post a message in a forum, on the StoryFeed I would see "Jesper posted on Forumname"

It should be easy to make the next version of this great and free Forum Module, fire story feeds into the also free StoryFeed.
Here's a blog on the integration to the StoryFeed: http://www.smart-thinker.com/DNNBlog/tabid/1070/EntryID/40/Default.aspx

Guys this is what I'm talking about. A vendor keen on providing integration between modules.
We need the forum to fire feeds into Smart-Thinkers StoryFeed module!

Adding forum (posts) to this StoryFeed module would add layers of usefullness this fourm module, and it would also act as a "latest post" module.
