Has anyone every seen this. I have a forum that is set up as a Public forum with post restrictions. I added a private forum to the mix for file downloads. I added a few posts and pinned them and now the entire group has vanished from the forum. I can see the forum through administration and see there are 2 posts in the forum. When I view just the forum, the group and posts are not listed. I have been able to re-produce this three times. I have a DNN v 4.9.2 which was a 4.9.1 clean install upgraded to 4.9.2 and Forum version 04.04.03.

To add a little more info:

When I create the private forum, it shows up. I then post to that forum, and then the forum and group disappear. I can then post to any other public forum, and the private forums show back up. If the last post was in the private forums, they do not sow up in the forum.

Have you check the errors log in admin?  If there any errorlogs from the forum it should helpfull. I think it can be an issue with caching (try clear your browser cache) or any issue we have with the user permissions.  Could you try to subscript in "my settings" to all forums and save, then checking your forums?  If it worked you can unsubscript to all forums.

There are no errors in the event log. I tried clearing the cache when this was happening and it did not help. Suscribing does not help either.

Whats your permission settings for the forums?  Have you running the scripts from the pinned thread about list issues in Forum 4.4.3 ?
