I hope this question will not reveal me ignorence

Is it possible to add a textual template to a specific forum?

Let me clarify my needs:
At the moment I support my freeware users by email.
I usually ask for a short list of details about their system, hardware and needs. I use an email template form and 99% of the people fill it very well.
I would like to switch to your forum module so that others will be able to read the correspondance.
Is there any kind of a similar mechanism for your Forum module?

Thank you

   Shaul
