Hi Swaminathan

The quickest and easiest way to get latest posts from your forums is to use something like the free ForumDisplay module from Radiant Software.

OpenWebStudio is also very good for doing your own custom setups like this, and I have a working sample configuration for latest blog entries which you could adapt. I'm currently setting OWS up myself for Forum Posts and other things and this should make the latest videos an easy one too for you.

Hope that helps!

David

Hi David,

Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

I installed that forum display module from radiant soft ware and using this module, i could display item id, parent post id, user id, subject, created date, thread id, post level, tree sort order, flat sort order, updated date, user name, display name, forum id, forum name, group id, group name from my forums.

But i could not display the forum post message and it's replies in this module which i mainly need. I found out in their supports that they don't provide that option now. may be in the next version.

I did not understood about open web studio, viz. download links for  "Latest Entries" module does not work. It takes me to a following url where some text message is displayed. Can you provide any alternative link to free download Latest Entries module?.

Awaiting your suggestions asap.

Thanks,

Swaminathan.

Hi Matthias,

Thanks a lot for that link.  I have downloaded that latest post module.

I have tested it. it works perfectly. It also gives option to pick the latest from any module not just forums..

Thanks,

Swaminathan.
