Hello I would just like to help the DNN community out with my 2 years experience working with DNN.

Currently my company is developing a new website based on a stripped down version of DNN 2 and DNN 3. We are building many custom modules to fill in the gaps. One of those gaps is a SEO (Search Engine Optimized) Menu

Basically it seems that 90% of the Dynamic Menus out there are completely NOT SEO friendly and that included the SolPart Menu that comes with DNN.

To guarantee your site is spidered correctly you need to make sure the BOT can read all navigational Items such as your Menu. Most BOTs will completely ignore any urls that are not in an anchor tag. So this means that a SEO optimized Menu System must use an Anchor tag to facilitate a SEO menu.

I’ve developed a Javascript / HTML menu that we will be translating into a Dynamic Menu system for use with DNN3.

This menu system also ties in with our completely Friendly URL system. (Currently Friendly URL system in DNN3 is not completely friendly)

I was curious if anyone would be interested in our menu if I released it to the public.

-Rick
