I am wondering if there is a way to configure the width of the forum module. I created a custom skin and I am trying to match the width of the forum module to the content pane from the skin that I have created.

For instance the content pane of my skin is 611px and I am wondering if there is a way in the forum module that to match that. Somewhere in the css file in forum module, is there a way that I can do to reduce the with of the forum module?. The forum module that I named is called The Juniper Forum. Basically my intention to match the size of the forum module to the navigation bar from the custom skin that I created. Right now the fourm module is mis aligned and I am trying to match the navigation bar of the custom skin.

Any help or advice would be much appreicated.

There isn't really a way to control the width via CSS. You would have to open the code, change many files and recompile. However, that said, much of the module is set to 100% width so you should be able to control this based on your content pane size and using some type of place holder in other content panes. Also, there are certain parts of the module that will load the site's admin skin such as Post Edit (what you see when you are adding a post/thread or editing one), the initial search area also uses this too.

I think I may have answered my own question. I was just browsing around in some other forums and it was suggested that, you go to the skin.ascx file and specify the width of the content pane. I did that and I was able to reduce the size of the content pane thus I was able to reduce the size of forum module.
