Hi folks

I am just starting to play with the forum module and I am a little bit overwhelmed by all the different configurations.

Can someone tell me (or point me to the right place to find out) how to grant users in a role permission to add threads and posts to a private moderated forum WITHOUT granting them page-level edit permissions?

Thanks

Geoffrey

The module permissions should only have view permission for those you want to be able to view, nobody should have edit besides a site admin. Then, you create forums and change the type of forum and a permissions grid is available to handle what you requested based on the type of forum you are using. I have some past blogs that discuss this.
