Hi all,

Users on my forum do not see 'post' link or 'new thread' to start a new thread. I have spent hours finding a way to allow them to post but could not, I feel I am missiong some setting on host account ... could somebody please help me and tell me what I am doing wrong?

My forum is online at http://www.bimcs.com

Thanks in advance..

Please read the pertinent section in the documentation for the module.

Guys, I really don't mind posting answers to questions and I also understand our search is not perfect, but this topic is shown within the last 30 threads which means nobody took the effort to look. If I am going to spend time answering almost every post in here, please do review at least the last 50 threads in this forum before posting. Again, not complaining about anyone but this is a reoccuring thing.

(Here is your answer btw)

Thanks Crispy,

I had already read the documentation and some of the posts in forums, but that do not solve my problem,, unfortunatly. When I give edit rights to registered users, it also gives the right to moderate and delete posts etc. I am sure there is something I am missing or doing wrong, but what is that ... is the confusion.

Thanks Crispy, It worked, I really have no idea how it worked .... I think I did exactly same steps and this time it worked fine. I am sure I missed some setting in past. Anyhow, thanks a lot for your help.
