Hi,

Suddenly , without changing any thing users can not create new threads ,  only reply to old post.

They get a message that sais: (two of together actually)

add/edit post is currently unavailable...

Does any one know what to do about it ?

Thanks Avi.

I'm experiencing the issue on that very forum:

I can obviously reply to existing threads but I can't create a new thread:

Here's a copy/paste of what I get (I guess the exceptions can be found in dnn.com event log):

Add/Edit Post

Error An error has occurred.
Error: is currently unavailable.

Another Forum Bug: The "email me when this thread has replies" checkbox does not seem to work as expected.

It gets unckecked after a page refresh, then fails with :

A critical error has occurred.
Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_Forum_TrackedThreads'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.Forum_TrackedThreads'. The statement has been terminated.

(that exception should also be logged on dnn.com)

The error suggests that the tracking is correctly set, but the checkbox state is wrong.

There does not seem to be so many users experiencing those errors in here, since I guess otherwise the log would be cracking with those exceptions. So that must have something to do with my profile.

Notification issues are known and solved in latest version of the module, which still needs to be applied on this site
