I'm running DNN 5.1.4 and latest forum module.

1. Users are not able to see the image for "My threads". There is  just a blank space.

2. Also icon for "Add to favorites" is missing, "x" icon is displayed instead.

Please let me know how to correct this.

I'm having the exact same problem you are.  Prior to the latest update I had added some theme downloaded from SnowCovered, and changed it from default to this new "blue" theme.  I looked in the theme images folder and found the "My Threads" icon that the forums module is selecting to display, and it's just a blank spacer so thats not a huge deal to me right now.

The other though, add to favorites...it's showing the red X for me also.  I'd like to change the theme back to the default but I can't seem to find where this is set anymore....the new admin interface behaves strangely, I cannot tell if it's the theme's fault or the fault of the module...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated..I'll keep poking around to see how to disable this theme to see if maybe thats our problem :->

I finally found the button to change the theme (google is my friend).   As suspected it was a theme issue for me, and probably for you too.  I forgot that I had applied a custom theme from http://www.dnnspired.com  which I'm thinking you did also.  With these themes installed on the new forums module it makes everything goofie and tough to use...when I reverted back to the default theme all was good...no more red X's....Check to see if this is your problem too.

To change the theme go to your forums page:

Click on the Admin icon. In the left column, click on Users, then on User Interface.(quoted from dnncreative) :->
