Hello!

I would like to make a little change in the code, so that the users do not get a notification mail when someone makes a change on a post, but only if it's a new post. It's a bit annoying that at any change the notification-mail is send.

Could anybody give me a hint?

Thank you very much for any help!

Regards,

Fabian

You need to find where it is a post case of edit. Without diving in, I am not sure of specifics but I think starting with Forum_PostEdit and following the update click event would do you justice.

ok - thank you. I'll have a look and tell you people on what I figured out.

By the way, wouldn't it be a nice configuration possibility in the forum settings? "Send notification on modification of posts? Yes/No".

Regards,
Fabian
