Hello,

I am searching for days why attachments for my users are not working.

I enabled the attachments in the forum. I also have set the permissions in the file manager for the forums/attachments folder for registered and subscribed users to write.

When my users click on reply or new thread the attachment dialog is missing. When I log on as Administrator then I see the dialog and can also upload files.

Can you please help me.

Best Regards,

Tom

In the dnn file manger for the portal, you need to set the folder permissions for the roles on the attachment folder.

As written in my 1st post I gave the "registered users" and subscribers" write access to the forums/attachments folder .....

I should have specified that those people also need read permissions.

How I have set the permissions can be seen in the screenshot:

Have you another hint for me?

Thanks, Thomas
