I can't move a question to a new category.
The categories used to appear as one block and were not selectable.

I have since upgraded the forum module to try and fix the issue (to 4.5.3) - but I still can't move threads to a new category.

I have created a new forum from the newly installed forum module - and I still cannot move threads to a new category.

I select move:

Move

I get this:

If I click on the PLUS sign I get this:

If I click on IDRP, I then get this:

But nothing happens the thread will not move.

I don't know what else to try because I have upgraded to latest forum module.

Before, I upgraded to latest forum module, I moved threads manually in the database by changing forum ID in forum_threads, Forum_Posts and forum_forums.
- Perhaps something is now corrupt here, but don't know what?

- It does work ok on my other portal, but not this one. The one it doesn't wok on, I changed the title of the forum to 'knowledge base' and new thread to 'new question' in language settings - not sure if this makes a difference?

further to this post,

if anyone else comes accross this problem - 'not being able to move threads to a different category' -

i've since noticed that it does work whilst connected via the server locally, but not when connected via our domain name url.

anyway, I'm happy to move posts by connecting to local server direct, so not a big issue.
(the reason for us moving threads regularly, is because we use it as an knowledge base [like faqs], as it offers more functionality than FAQ module).
