 Where do you change the standard 

"Since you posted to a moderated forum, a forum administrator must approve your post before it will become visible. Please be patient, this may take anywhere from a few minutes to many hours. Note that you will receive an email when your post is approved"

I want it to say something different when someone posts to the forum.  I search throughout these forums, google, all the settings in the forum I could find and couldn't find it.  Anyone know?

go to languages in admin menu and enter Language editor.

In DNN 5 make sure to be in Portal scope.

in the tree on the left search for local desktop modules > forums > app_localresources. AFAIR the text is either in sharedResources or a file named like EditPost.

customize the text and save your changes. These will be preserved on module upgrades.
