I have 2 questions about the UPC.

How can I remove the "down" arrow module menu and how can I change the default overview text? see below

hat 'down' arrow is the module action menu, this would be controlled by the container OR the navigation provider (typically, the provider) and the style for it is the same across your entire portal. The text for the control panel is changed in the various resource files (.resx). In this case, the Forum/Controls/App_LocalResources/UCP_Main.ascx.resx.

Thanks Crispy, I could've sworn I looked in that resource file. I'll check again though.

So I can probably just create a new container that doesn't have that action menu in order to get rid of it.

One more thing, is there a way to get additional modules on the UCP and Forum search pages?

No, there is no way to load additional modules on those particular views.
