I love no responses when users are having issues. After a year of refusing to use the core forum I decided to give it another try. I get this error. I am not using an object qualifier. Does the forum change the web.config? Why?

Am thinking of trying to find all the forum database objects using Sql Server Management Studio, deleting them, and trying to reinstall the forum again. Is this a bad idea?

There is a bug, simple as that.

There are not any objects called Forum_Forum...      why is it duplicating that???     Using an object qualifier or not is NOT the issue.   The issue is the installation is buggy!

All my objects exists    dbo.Forum_Get, etc...    but the error is   Forum_Forum   (can't find it..  really?????  wonder why!  )

 Brian,

open /desktopmodules/forum/providers/dataproviders/sqldataprovider/05.02.03.sqldataprovider and replace any {objectQualifier}{objectQualifier} by {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}. copy content of the file and past into the textbox inside Host :: SQL in your DNN installation. execute as script and run.

Was trying to update this forum and got this error. A critical error has occurred. Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_Forum_TrackedThreads'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.Forum_TrackedThreads'. The statement has been terminated. My entry was that I had the forum installed on 5.02.02 (I think). The problem occurred upgrading to 5.02.03.
