Do not have this folder /desktopmodules/forum/providers/ In this folder /desktopmodules/forum/ are sqldatatprovider up to 04.03.00 Is there some way to delete the entire forum application and reinstall, leaving the rest of DNN intact? ------ reply to post below ---- open /desktopmodules/forum/providers/dataproviders/sqldataprovider/05.02.03.sqldataprovider and replace any {objectQualifier}{objectQualifier} by {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}. copy content of the file and past into the textbox inside Host :: SQL in your DNN installation. execute as script and run.

Yes, after a few hours of wasting my time, the fix is I have to go correct the bug in the code and uninstall and reinstall. Why can't it just be fixed.... nothing changes around here. Sebastian, you realize if I do what you want.. it now duplicates everything right. I mean the forum is already poorly designed and uses 30 tables. No idea how many procs, probably 50.

Brian,

the number of tables indicate the complexity of this module, but not a poor design.

I agree it would be nice to get more frequent upgrades, but I do understand volunteers troubles to find necessary time for the project...
