We are running DNN 3.1.0 and the latest version of the forums. Seems that some things have been fixed - like the stats, views and paging which is great.

We still have some problems though - first views are not updating correctly. I am trying logging in as 3 different user accounts and none of them will update the views. Another user logs in from somewhere else and the views get updated.

The other problem is that the last post date and the first post date always show the same within the forum itself. On the main page the last post date is correct, but in the list of threads the last post is incorrect and is shown as the same as the Started name and date.

Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.

Thanks,

Jason Emery

The views were working to my knowledge with the exception of moderated forums and moderators viewing them does not count.  This is not corrected yet so I don't have an answer for you.

The last post issue has been corrected but there were so many changes that to map out a correction for the current version is almost impossible without working out an entirely different solution, which I don't have time for.  We need about another 1-2 weeks to for another forums release.  If you notice here we are testing a new version 3.10.02 and it is much better than the others before it but there are a few remaining bugs that must be worked out first.  The performance enhancements in the upcomming release are huge.

Ok thanks. I guess views are wqorking more than not at all. Just seems weird when a new thread can have 0 views and 3 replies for example.

As far as the date thing - any ideas what I could do to fix this? When you view a list of threads the Last Post and Started date is always the Started date. It Last Post does not update when replies are made to the thread. Is there anything I can uninstall and reinstall to try and fix this without losing data?

Thanks again,
Jason

Can anyone just tell me if it is possible to uninstall and reinstall the forums without losing data?

Thank you,
Jason
