I cannot figure out how to set the default view for sorting and emailing.
What I am looking to do is to have the sorting be from newest to oldest by default and also have the "email me when this thread has replies" checked by default.
Can anyone point me in the right direction. I have cracked open about every file in the forum folder and read the documentation but am coming up blank.
If you listen you can hear me beating my head against my desk... SOS..

The forum is still restricted but I am making progress.

For the Notification there is a administration in "My Settings" but it had at time no sorting by date or by forum.

The email is not managable by a manageable email management on the forum module from the user at time.

A overview what threads or forums you have select to get notification is manageable from the "My settings".

The View order of the forum is set by default from newest to older posts it is not changeable by a setting feature.
