Hi, I'm having some difficulty finalising the set up of my forum and I'm hoping for some help please.

1. I can't figure out how to change the default text size, it's too small currently.

2. I'd like registered users to be able to insert images into their posts. I've disabled attachments. However, the standard HTML editor doesn't allow non-admin users to upload images. I don't really want non-admin to browse the server either.
Best case I'd like to allow all registered users to upload an image from their own PC to a predefined area (that admin sets).
Next best I'll stick with the browse server option, but I need it to default to a forum uploads folder and not allow browsing anywhere else, plus all registered users need to be able to upload.
I've had a look at inserting an image on this forum as I see the editor interface is different to the standard, but I can't seem to upload anything. Is there a place I can go to to find an editor I want to use?

Can anyone help me please? Thanks.

Hello.

1. You will find the Desktopmodules/forum directory and in there you will find the blue theme CSS. Change in there whatever your want.

2. You mean how the users "link" and include images hosted elsewehere ? If yes, i haven't found a way myself using the RAD html editor. The default RAD editor has an option for that, but for some reason is is not enabled.

You should download CKeditor provider from Codeplex and use that. Then you have that option in the tool bar.

I hope i have helped ...

I'd thought I'd give an update on this.

I figured out the font size. I had forgotten that I'm using Easymod and Flexi2 skins, which is ace. All I needed to do was amend the font sizes in there. I can't believe I scratched my head over this for so long!

For inserting images I can use CK or Radeditor, though I haven't figured out how to have exactly what I need.
Currently:
  • If I use CK editor, I can't figure out how to customise the html editor for users and pages
  • If I use dnnwerk radeditor, I can't figure out how to use smilies (I have asked the question)

The answer for Radeditor is here: http://radeditor.codeplex.com/Thread/...
I haven't quite figured out how to apply it yet, but I'm sure anyone who's good with code will be able to sort it.
