I have run into the same issues as you have except I have not been able to get any uploaded image to show up other than the site logo and images I add into the HTML module. The site logo will not display within the Admin site settings nor will the profile picture display for the logged in user or the forum. I have checked the permissions on the directories and they are all read/write as well, the images have uploaded into the proper directories. They just won't show. all i get is the broken link.

This is the address for the image that is supposed to be displayed through the Admin site Settings page. not sure if that matters or not.

any help out there?
