Hi,

Is there a way to specify the order in which the threads apear within a forum? I ask this because I always get the new topics somewhere in the middle of the forum, as in the following picture...

Thanks,

Catalin

If you look back through the other threads, you'll see that this is a known problem experienced when you have your profile configured to display too many threads on one page.  Reduce the number per page and it should order correctly.

There is something wrong in the sproc logic. We are working to correct it but Dan is right and i think if you set to 25 it is fine but 30 is wrong and i don't know the pattern yet.

I just downloaded DNN version 3.3, and it contains the latest forum module update.  Now, my threads are ALL out of order, I get threads from 2/01/2005 mixed in with 06/14/2006, and there appears to be NO ORDER whatsoever.  I have tried changing the number of threads from 5 to 10, to 20, to 25, and no matter what the threads appear in a complete random order.

Interestingly, I notice that here on the DotNetNuke.com website, the forum threads always appear in the correct order.... Does DotNetNuke.com use the latest version?  Is there a hotfix available to correct this problem?

Thanks!

I have the same problem. The threads are sorted by creation date ascend and not by edit date descend.

Next problem: fixed threads are no more fixed

regards
Andreas
