I just installed the new forum module.  Everything works great, except that the avatars have disappeared from the threads (they used to be displayed to the left of each post).  I saw a mentioning of the fact that the forum now relies on the core DNN profile and so I uploaded my avatar there as well.  So now I have a forum module in which the users have avatars and all avatars are enabled, but no avatar shows up to the left of each post.  Any ideas?

did you restart the application after your changes and validated forums settings?

For the record, for anyone viewing this thread, changes made in the core profile may take some time before they are available in the forum module. This is because the forum has its own 'user' cache which is not updated when profile properties are updated (and thus, the core user's cache).
