Hi,

When I click on the Syndicate button (from eitherthe main forum page on an individual forum), it doesn't generate the RSS feed. It just sends me back to the page I was on. I have checked the box to Enable RSS Feeds in the Forum Administration control panel settings. Any idea why this is not working? How can I create an RSS feed of forum posts?  I am running DNN 5.5.1 and Forum module 5.1.4

Thanks, Joan

This may not help at all, but make sure your search is enabled in the Host > Scheduler page.  The search index process also generates the RSS feeds.  If it is enabled, make sure that the history for the scheduled item has successful entries.

Finally, look for any errors that might appear to be related in your Admin > Event Log and report them, as they might help troubleshoot this issue.

I checked under Host > Schedule.
The Search Engine Scheduler is enabled and runs every 12 hours. It has entries in the History that indicate the content is re-indexed appropriately.

There are two jobs I see related to Forums:
DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.StartEmailQueuedTasks, DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum
DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.CleanupEmailQueuedTasks, DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum

Neither of these are enabled. Do I need to enable these for the RSS to generate? If so, what schedule do you recommend?

Thanks for your help,
Joan

Not sure what it means or if it's related to the problem...

The error you found relates to the Reports Module, so I think that this is the cause of your problem.

Do you have any other modules with RSS enabled?  If yes, do they generate feeds, or no?  This will help us to determine if this is an issue in the forums module, or if the issue is more global.
