How to I activate Smilies in the Forum?

I installed the Gallery Module and configured integration in the Forum by the wizard. But no replacement is taken for the typical smilie tags like ";)".

At the left there are now this two buttons where my user get errors. I think I have to change some access rights to the galleries. I hoped a selection of smilies in the left pane.

Is there any further documentation on how to get this working?

If you configured it properly, which it seems you did, you should then see the buttons to the left like we have here.  The Insert Smily button is used to select items.  Currently, it is not parsing and replacing everything like you may be thinking it should.  For example, I know the smiley causes problems as seen with the word evist.
