Maybe not in the US, but it may well be getting there in other places, here's a report from Zdnet from January of this year.

The thing is that many of us that use dnn are developer types, and with that we will develop for the most standards compliant browsers, and then tweak for IE.  Consequently we tend to use Firefox more, I guess.

Just so everyone is aware, we have been spending time with the forums to make them work better in Firefox. Things like a Firefox upgrade causing FTB script problems is a bit beyond my control. I haven't seen this problem with the new DNN version using a newer FTB version. My comments are not to say that Firefox isn't an important focus for compatibility, as normally if it affects Firefox it affects Safari as well. My comments are more focused that an opinion of what should be considered a major bug and what should not be. Also, as I said before this is by no means a bug of the Forum module.

Firefox is definitely growing, but it doesn't come close to 20% market share with respect to DNN users. It is true that Firefox tends to grow on developers quicker than others, but Microsoft developers are, and have always been, their own breed. You will find that the majority of Microsoft developers still use IE only. It's not something I would do - I prefer Firefox.

Be that as it may, we don't control FTB, as Chris mentioned, so we can't change how it works. I suggest you try to work with that development team to see about having their tool work better with Firefox. Nobody has made a position to support or not support any one particular browser. We, the DNN team, can only put in so much time and can only hope that you as the community are thankful for what we put in. If you have any contributions, please let us know by submitting changes in Gemini or emailing a team member - preferably the former.
