I am trying to move some of the threads in one forum to a different forum to consolidate my Forums. I started doing this with the forum manager tool in the admin panel of the core forums, but then this became tedious for so many threads. I then tried changing the ForumID in the thread table for the specific threads. Seems to move the posts, but now if I try to access the threads I get the following error:

InnerException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

What do I need to change to make the threads and posts move successfully?

Turned out that I just needed to flush the cache and restart the application.  All is good now.
