Greetings
What direction is DNN taking with the Forum Module in 6.0? We currently use the forum module for critical business processes and we are curious what direction the forum module going?

6.0 will have the 5.0.3 release of the forums, which is the same as 5.0.2 today but will be built against 6.0.  Supposedly in the 4th quarter of the year a new forum based on Active Modules (now Dotnetnuke corp owned) Active Forums will be released with DNN 6.1.

If you are starting a new site today I would consider using the YAF forums.  They are excellent, constantly being updated, and already have a version in development that will run on 6.0 when its released.
