I am needing to implement private messaging from the forum module. There is currently no integration between the forum module and the core messaging. I have the private messaging module from Venitrian, which can take a userid and subject as querystring parameters. Can anyone point me to the correct place in the forum code where you could modify the author's user profile link within a post to point to the private messaging module?

Or if there is any other way to do this, like a template that takes string replacement token?

Thanks for the reply. I would love to try this out, but I'm not sure where in the forum module admin section you would set this up. If you could point me there, I will check it out.
