Dear Sir,

         I develop a simple module with database. And I'm converting into installable   extension. final i get the zip file. But when I'm installing the module the database can't created. how to create database and table when installing my extension. plz say the answer step by step plz help me

I think u need to check the 01.00.00.SqlDataProvider file for related database query present or not before package creation.

Your database should already be created when you installed DNN. That's the same one you'll use for your modules.

You can either manually create your database objects or put it in a script that runs when DNN installs modules. Like Sunil said, there's a file located here that will run any sql scripts included:

YourModule\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\00.00.01.SqlDataProvider

Put your sql code there and it should run.

Please be sure you used the placeholder {databaseOwner} and {objectQulifier} insted the Schema dbo for your tables, spocs, views and functions !  Only if you check or Access sys databases you have to use the hardcoded dbo !

This makes sure your module runs on all different SQL Server configurations!
