I've recently installed the Active forums module on our triathlon club website for testing.  However it doesn't appear to offer any kind of rich text editor - indeed not even a button for bold text - is there something I'm missing or is this just a feature that doesn't exist on the module?

Cheers

K.

Hi Keith,

  • Go to the AF Control Panel and select Forums
  • Click a forum group and click the Features tab
  • Make sure that HTML Input is set to ON
  • Click  the three dots (...) to bring up the editor options
  • In the Editor drop down box select Default DNN Editor
  • Save

That should do it.

If the forum doesn't inherit the group settings then you will need to do the same in the actual forum settings.

Hope that helps.

Fantastic.

Many thanks - possibly the first bit of really useful help I've had from a DNN forum post.  Very much appreciated.

Cheers

K.
