Is there any way to have the forums update a page's Title and Description meta tag?  Search engines use these 2 fields to differentiate pages.  Having all the same title and description the search engines will cache less pages which isn't great for pumping up traffic.

I am not aware of a way to do this currently in the core.

As posted by Scott McCulloch at http://www.ventrian.com/Resources/Articles/tabid/213/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/151/SettingthePageTitleDynamically.aspx

I've tested on 3.2.0 and it works fine.  Put the following in your module to change the Page Title dynamically.

Dim myPage As DotNetNuke.Framework.CDefault
myPage =
CType(Me.Page, CDefault)
myPage.Title = "Changing the Title"

This could then be used to load the current thread title as the page title in the forums.

Whether it is in the core or not.  Until it is built in, the forums are going to be a second class citizen to such projects as vBulletin, in terms of forum results showing up in organic search results.  It's a HUGE shame because of all of the work that has gone into the forum can not be realized.

I can only code so fast :)

Before theNudge's post, I wasn't even aware this was possible.
