Hi all

I've recently taken over a site which is for the most part  a forum.  The site currently operates on DNN 05.06.01 and uses the DNN Core Forum Module 05.00.03.

I want to develop the site and would need to upgrade DNN to access features I will need, but in doing so I can't compromise the forum.  Will the Forum module continue to work if I upgrade to DNN7?  If not any suggestions as to options to bring the forum forward would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Rob B

AFAIK, yes with some minor restrictions.  As you see it still worked on this page.  But the Forum Module is sunsetted and should be replaced with Active Forums, that are availible from codeplex or on the forge.  There is also a Migration script availible, but I am not sure if it worked well. I haven't tested it yet.

Thanks Matthias, that's good to hear.

I did think this looked like the DNN Core forum but wasn't sure.

On starting a new Forum I want to suggest to use the new active Forums.
