One of the problems that I struggle with on the DotNetNuke website is tracking down the solution to a problem that I have. I always assume that someone else has hit this problem and posted something in the forums and so I always do an extensive search first. Initially I use the DotNetNuke forum and then google with the site:dotnetnuke.com syntax.

One of the problems with searching for Forum answers is that the forums themselves are used for coordination of all issues relating to DotNetNuke so a search for "edit disabled forum site:dotnetnuke.com" on google will actually bring up pages from any part of the forum and not address my search in particular. This a nuance that the word forum is used on all sections of the forums.

Has anybody got any tips, tricks or ideas about improving search hits on DotNetNuke when looking for solutions?
