I was unclear from the last thread if the forums module was available in full for version 4.0.2.  I have the ability to add the forums module to a page and edit and start new threads from admin but members are only able to view the forum description and not actually post and search.  I have looked through the settings and am not able to enable users ability.  Am I missing something or do I need to install upgrade?

BTW I was able to edit permissions to allow edit from forum admin - manage- discussions - edit - general- auth edit roles.  That gave users the option for search and home but not my posts or new thread.  I deleted that and went to forum module settings- permissions-edit module.  That did it!  However I had more than one forum set up so when I set up next I got this A critical error has occurred.
The added or subtracted value results in an un-representable DateTime. Parameter name: value.  Can I not have more than one forum on my site? If not is there a way around or a way to differentiate the different types of members I have when using the same forum?

Is there anyone who might have some answers that would help?

It seems to me that your problem is your container used for the module. You must have a container that uses solpart or some module actions otherwise you will not see options.
