Presstopia, your smtp settings are not correct, that I am sure of.

Mr McFly, please review your error logs to see if any errors are there.  This still sounds like a configuration error.  Once again, please please see the documentaion from the projects download page.

I've checked the settings and they're fine. What is weird is that sometimes I get the email notifications, sometimes I don't (in which case it throws the error I posted). All the other modules using email are working fine.

I've restarted the SMTP server to see if that helps. So far the notifications are being sent again, but it comes and goes so it's too early to say if that was it.

If the settings checkout and you are getting that error, this is an SMTP error.  This is beyond the module having a bug.

I'm getting the same error.  When I post a reply to a thread...I get the following error on the page:

Could not access 'CDO.Message' object

The strange thing is, I get an email stating that an error occurred and it says the same thing.  Does anyone have a fix to this? (Running DNN 3.1.1)

I'm having the same error as Presstopia. It comes and goes.
