If I disable Email Notification in the module's configuration, the option to "Email me when XYZ forum has a new thread" option is still shown in forum view.

Even though the option to subscribe to thread notifications are displayed, however, are you still receiving email notifications if Email Notifications is disabled?

The email notifications no longer go out, but as you can imagine it's very confusing.

I've been having a lot of problems with email notifications not being sent out (keep getting random CDO.Message errors) so I decided I'd rather disable notifications altogether to avoid confusion. However, since it leaves the email notification option there, it created even more confusion.
