Ok..  I'm pulling my hair out...  checked settings 50x and still dont see anything that would prevent the statistics from being displayed.

The forums have never had the stats work except for the very first time I added the module.  Once I had added new disscussions it went away.

I added a new module to a new page and wow the stats showed up!  I was rather confused w/this so I added the existing module to another new page and poof! the stats are gone, didnt change any permissions or any settings on the forum / module..

anybody have any ideas?

I am running 3.3.2(?) I think...    no custom modules or code..

You should be running core version 3.3.3 (3.3.5 if possible).

First, the stats need to be enabled in general Settings. The rest of things are stored under the module settings area. There is an enable/disable footer. There is also a group selection here, if a specific group is selected the footer will never display.
